Our greatest reward is giving back.
Naperville Humane Society
It’s no secret that we love our four-legged friends at Youtech. So when we got the opportunity to spend the day volunteering at the Naperville Area Humane Society, our first thought was, “where can we sign up?!”
We started out the day stuffing kongs with kibble, wet food, and other tasty treats. The staff freezes these treats overnight so that the dogs have a nice, cold snack to keep them occupied during the hot summer months. The activity that followed was less than glamorous but something we were happy to help with nevertheless: cleaning the animal living quarters.
We saved the best for last and closed out the day with a little playtime! Our team took some of the newer dogs and cats out to play fetch and helped them get acclimated to the facility. Getting to show these neglected animals compassion and love is really what made our day. Our experience was paw-sitively perfect and Youtech left the Naperville Humane Society with full hearts and great memories!
Isabel & The Incredibles & Bcureful
At Youtech, relationships matter to us, and we love being able to support our clients! Awesome Hand Gaming has been with us since 2014, so when we heard that Isabel—the granddaughter of AHG Owner Chris McSwain—was born with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, we knew we wanted to help.
Isabel & The Incredibles host a yearly walk to support Isabel and everyone affected by Tuberous Sclerosis. We love showing our support through donating and participating in the walk each year.
We are also a proud sponsor of Bcureful, a non-profit organization that is partnered with Isabel & The Incredibles. This past year, Youtech sponsored and attended the Bcureful Halloween event to help fundraise for the foundation. Their mission is to connect experienced medical care with patients who need it most and create opportunities to advance research in hopes to find a cure for TS.
The Scottsdale Philharmonic is a non-profit, funded by the general public and business community. They are taking the world of music by storm through their symphony. The group aims to enhance the cultural environment of Scottsdale by exposing all age groups to classical music with free performances.
What can Youtech bring to the table you may ask? We put our expertise in website building and web design to work and donated a website that emulates Scottsdale Philharmonic’s mission. We were able to create a place where people can come to not only learn about the movement but donate to the cause.
Naperville Central High School
At Youtech, we understand the importance of molding young minds. We love investing time educating the future generation of marketers to set them up for success. Our CEO, Wilbur You, and COO, Lauren Urban, attend Mrs. Bell’s marketing classes at Naperville Central High School every year and spend the day presenting on entrepreneurship.
We love connecting with the students and being there to answer questions about the ever-changing field that is marketing.
Toys for Tots
The Toys for Tots Foundation collects unopened toys to distribute to kids that are less fortunate during the holidays. The goal is to spread the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to children receiving the gift. You can donate at any toy drop location, and that’s where we come into play.
Youtech volunteers to be one of the designated drop spots each year. We set up a dock in the Naperville office where Youtech employees, along with people from other offices, can come to donate their unwrapped toys.
Loaves and Fishes
Nothing compares to the joy you receive when serving others. We volunteered at Loaves & Fishes to collect and stock nutritious food to benefit low-income families in Naperville. This organization makes such an impact on our community and we are so glad we were able to donate our time to help out.
Feed My Starving Children
Another year of packing food for Feed My Starving Children in the books. The Feed My Starving Children Charity provides nutrient-packed meals to malnourished children. Collectively, we were able to pack enough boxes of food to feed 87 children for a whole year. Now that’s something to celebrate.
