Job Description

  • Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Managing supplier relationships.
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team.
  • Traveling to on-site inspections and project managing events.
  • Responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.
  • Own the entire event process from conceptualization to promotion to staffing to logistics to press and much more.
  • Leverage social media, PR, email marketing, and other marketing/advertising avenues to promote the event.
  • Coordinate with internal and external creative services to create and design promotional materials for events as needed, such as invitations, email blasts, programs, SWAG, and all other print and digital material.

Important qualities

  • Must work nights and weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in event marketing management.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team (internal and external).
  • Good with budgets.
  • Reliable/good at hitting deadlines.
  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Multi-tasker.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Comfortable in bar/restaurant settings.
